So fed up cried my self to sleep last night due to the constant pain i am in that doesn't help my mental health..... any suggestions welcome depending on what is recommended as I am on 5 dif meds already...
Poor you, what caused the pain? Have you seen anyone about the pain? I hope you get it sorted. Make sure you speak to your doctor about alternative medicine when you see someone and tell the truth I'm in pain and it is stopping me sleeping.
Wow 5 meds and your still crying? Maybe it is time for an adjustment in your meds. Please seek professional help regarding this matter. The meds don’t seem to be working. I’m so sorry that you are feeling so low I know exactly what it is like. My doc just kept changing the meds until they worked. I cried a lot we finally found the right meds I am only on 3 that is still a lot but they work. Please call a professional if you don’t get the results that you need, find another dr. Best of luck

Hi I have l4 l5 spinal problems along with pain down my left leg sciatic nerve pain worse than normal now. I'm waiting too see a specialist to get another mri scan
The pain is due to spinal, sciatic and hip with left leg pain. Im waiting to see a specialist. My gp is very good she listens to me and is helping x
Are they pain meds? Have you tried heat and ice? I’m sorry for your pain it can be depressing. If you sleep on your side it helps to put a pillow between your legs. If you sleep on your back it helps to put a pillow under the calves to raise the legs. When do you see the specialist?
Pain can make everything sooo much worse. Do anything that you can to make yourself as comfortable as possible forget everything else, right now you have to come first. Xxx
I have tried numerous things from ice heat to pillows and nothing works.
I am waiting to hear if I am deemed urgent or have to wait up to 7 weeks.

Oh I’m so sorry. 7 weeks? The pain meds don’t work? I would call the dr again and stress how much pain you are in. This is no way to live. You need medical attention. Please call them again you need to be comfortable.
I am very lucky I have a GP who is very helpful, I have a multitude of issues with my back, ie spine and sciatic nerve!
I am waiting on getting a referral but all I get is your on the waiting list!
Thanks I just feel so tired and exhausted, even more so after finishing work. the pain meds take some of it away but not all of it.
I would call the dr again and tell him that you are unable to sleep due to severe pain. Please call them.
Well can he give you meds that work better in the meantime?
I saw her on the 2nd and she explained that with the meds I am taking it is normal to be tired! Will see if I can see her tomorrow, will have to wait until the morning to possibly get an appointment!
I am on cocodamol x3 lots a day with Ibuprofen in between those doses! then I am on Citalopram and Amitriptyline 25mg at night but can add in 10mg if I cant rest/sleep.
The amitriptyline does work making me tired so I sleep but I just feel that I am tired all the time.
