Hi folks, I've been up and pacing around since around 2am, chest really sore ,numb hands in fact iwont continue with the list becsuse you al know how it goes,, I haven't felt this bad in a long long time all I really want to do right now is get some sleep as im exhausted but every time I lay down I feel sick and dizzy, dont really know why I feel the need to share this infinformation but I am maybe its just a wee release fof me.
have you tried nytol tablets for sleep when you are anxious. It works for me.

Hi Richard, no I haven't tried them but might just give them a try, nothing to lose eh? Are they just a natural remedy? as im on 3 different meds just now, thanks for your advise and take care x
I try valerian root tablets. It's a natural Xanax and it should help you relax. But look up if it's ok to take with your prescriptions.

sometimes it is good just to sit at comp and type, it gives you something to concenrate on, takes your mind off the turmoil you are going through, well it does me , right now it feels as if my guts are twisting , what meds are you on, ? they could be causing your problems, pregabalin has given me loads , supposed to relax me, but made me restless ,agitated, almost jumping around the bed, . am withdrawing from it now, very slow and painful process, very little sleep, no appetite, you name it Iv'e got it .do take care, lots of people will be wishing you well ,we all have same experience. bye rosie. xx
Hi Rosemary, ye any distraction has to be a good thing, I know how you feel my stomachs in knots as well anf has been for days,I wish you well and success on withdrawing from your meds, im on propranolol which helps the palpitations but thats about all they do, my other meds aint for anxiety they are hrt and the other ones for stomach ulcers, aint I lucky ha ha , take care xx

But most of all, try to accept the fact that you are feeling anxious and tell yourself that it will pass. Try and take deep breaths and ground yourself in the moment as opposed to thinking back in the past or ahead in the future!

I sat in the theatre today feeling sick, and with pains in my left arm. my neck was aching at times, you do wonder sometimes whats happening in your body, and you cant go to the doc every day with a list! lol. . (unless you're superrich). We can do so much and then we live with a risk, and just try to ignore it a bit, (hopefully)and tell ourselves- as someone else said this too will pass. Lack of sleep makes things worse, so if you can increase your sleep it will help the physical symptoms. Sudoku is what I try in the middle of the night. Any distraction tho will do. anongirl has posted a list which i think i've read before, simple but useful.
