For the last month I have been suffering from severe anxiety and derealization (have not been officially diagnosed) and I feel like I'm going crazy my vision feels constantly off to me like something is wrong even thought I don't see anything. I went to the eye doctor and I had a slight change in vision (I'm slightly far sighted). I feel like its never going to get better, and I have non-stop anxious thoughts and feelings. I really want anxiety medication but my doctor says I don't need it. Can anyone please help???
I think the advice you received in your last post still stands Daniel,seek therapy from your doc rather than meds,you may find them more keen to try that,meds are going to miraculously stop your problems in afraid,that isn't their purpose
I have similair symptoms to you. Something strange and imperceptibly wrong with my vision, panic attacks, dissociative episodes, depression. I'm still trying to figure out what it is, it would be interesting to see if there's something in common causing it. Do you use a lot of artifical sweetners? I understand the deperation you must be feeling, exacerbated by the anxiety. Don't give up hope, it will get better.
I do use alot of artificial sugar , I am diabetic so I cannot have regular sugar.
Which sweetener do you mostly use? I noticed my symptoms got a lot worse when I consumed a higher than usual amount of sweetener. A quick google yielded some interesting results.
I'm going to try cutting back and seeing if it helps.
