So you are hypothyroid. Tiredness is a classic symptom and though you don’t say so I assume that is why you feel anxious and down. Presumably your doctor has prescribed medication. Take it. It will not make you feel better instantly, it takes weeks. Read up on hypothyroidism in Wikipedia and elsewhere. Stay in touch and good luck! A mild sedative such as Atavan can take the edge off the anxiety without turning you into a zombie. It works for me.
Jessie, Your doctor should have prescribed thyroid meds. If not, get a different doctor. It may take months to get the right dosage for you, but have patience. You WILL feel better! I was diagnosed years ago with 5 and I immediately felt better. Hubby was diagnosed last year. His number was 28. It took awhile, but he's now doing great, back to the man I married! So just realize it may take a bit of time, but you will feel better.
Thank you for taking the time to answer, I am on 100mcg of levothyroxine been for a year on that dose, but I started getting anxiety and feel down, so had a blood test done, t4 was in range , tsh was bit high, so was told to have one again in 3 months,
