I started on 10mg citalopram for a week,increased to 20 mg for a month,now on 3rd week of 30mg.i haven't had any side affects on this med,so does this mean it's not working,or am I a lucky one not to get any side affects,also I don't feel any different in the 8 weeks I've been in them.still feel as anxious as I did at the start of taking them 😬

Its uncommon to not experience some side effects maybe goggle the side effects for citalopram they may be there just very subtle ? I must admit the side effects for me where never unbearable as some people professed, it will take time for the citalopram to work though, some people dont get benefits in mood behaviour for some weeks to months please be patient, if no better and anxiety is really tough see your GP they may need to prescribe something else on top of the Anit-depressant. My side effects were very small as well, but I did start smiling and find myself laughing and more moments of happiness
