Feeling dizzy, anxiety??

Can anxiety make you head feel dizzy. It's not like I'm going to fall over my head just feels fuzzy and every so often I feel a bit dizzy. I've suffered from anxiety for a while but this has never happened.

it sure can, its one of the most common symptoms.  one reason is that when we;re anxious we dont breath properly, often it becomes quick and shallow without us realising, another is all the adrenaline thats relased at times

Hi amy, it is anxiety symtom. I suggest you seek advice from your gp.

Yes it can make you feel dizzy. Stress can do many things, take a deep breath and know that it will pass.

Hi,

I have this dizziness too when going through stressful times. You have to fix yourself from the inside and drink alot of water and food that makes you feel clean and healthy like fruits and vegs. One way to battle this dizziness potentially is to tell yourself that there is a solution to every issue. You just have to be willing to work towards finding solutions and stay positive.

I recently was in an area that experienced earthquake tremors. The stress and anxiety of being in that situation multiple times and feeling helpless was bad. I just told myself the only way to fight this was to calm my mind down.

Find a way to focus on your breathing and diet and hopefully you will feel better!

Thank you all. I told my GP but she just said increase my citalopram and start taking beta-blockers again. I don't want to be reliant on medication. My anxiety physical symptoms seem to come on for no reason, it's strange!

I agree 100%. Medication is not the sustainable answer. Especially with alot having side effects etc. There are so many "natural" ways to get rid of anxiety if you focus on working on them daily.  How you fight this is in your hands.
