This only happens at night when I am in ned. One doctor said I have Lupuus, one said RA.

Also I need a hip replacement right leg how can I expadite this. I can hardly walk. It wakes me up at night

Hi Joan, when you say DR's have diagnosed, do you mean your GP, can I ask do you suffer from any other medical issues.

That kind of pain is typically referred to as sciatica pain. I am surprised at your doctor's diagnosis. Did he or she do any blood work and x-rays and MRIs anything?

My GP and I do have high blood pressure and also take levothyroxine. Earlier in the year I had blocked. Arteries in both legs and had stents placed in the lower legs

Are you in the UK? Has your GP referred you to an orthopaedic surgeon? They make the decision as to whether you need the op or not - but at present I think there is a stop to planned ops because of the winter pressures and lack of beds/risk of infections. But you could start the process if he hasn't already done so.

An orthopedic surgeon is fine but don't overlook a neurosurgeon either.

Thank you for your helpful replies. I have seen a rhumatologist who said my white blood cell count is low and stop taking the Methotrexate for two weeks then go back for more blood work

I have also seen my GP that's it

I am so grateful for the lovely people in the forum, we all know we are not alone in this battle and the health advice is invaluable. Thank you to everyone.

I now have a bad cold, cough, sore throat and a severe pain over my right eye which has been coming on the past couple of nights, my sight in that eye deteriorates when I have the pain and it is red. Has anyone else experienced this? It seems to be one thing. After the other I'm afraid 😣

I really would counsell contacting your doctor about the eye pain as soon as possible- especially because of the fact it affects your vision. If it happens again, and particularly if it is getting worse, do please call the emergency services - at the very least 111 - unless you are able to get to A&E yourself. I don't often suggest it, especially in the winter when they are so busy - but your vision is precious and you need that looking at. Please. don't ignore it hoping it will go away. In the morning you could try calling your rheumatologist or his specialist nurse.
