I have a history with anxiety and just a while ago I got that scary feeling that my heart’s about to burst of out my chest. Currently I don’t have any rapid heart beat. I just got that scary sensation that my heart is going to explode and it’s making me anxious the more I think and feel about it. The only other time I felt this way was when I had a cup of strong coffee last week, which triggered it. Although I don’t drink coffee at all except for that. I worked out an hour ago but it was manly walking and riding on a recumbent bike. Should I be concerned about this? It’s scaring me. What should I do? It’s only making me begin to hyperventilate. Anyone experienced this before?
was there any pain associated with the rapid heartbeat?
anxiety can cause all kinds of symptoms including rapid heart rate, shortness of breath, and so many more. When you have those sensations or just the feeling like you’re heart is going to burst out of your chest, that can increase your anxiety and cause even more symptoms.
anxiety tends to cause negative and worrisome thoughts. Keep in mind that any symptoms caused by anxiety cannot hurt you. I know they are scary but you have to learn how to calm yourself down to relieve the symptoms.
WHEN you feel like that, search YouTube for something called stop panic attacks now, then scroll down to one called don’t panic. It’s in black letters with a white background.
