I am hoping someone out there can relate to my symtoms.....
It started four weeks ago, firstly I was feeling numbness in my face and arms which was making me panic, then my neck went in to a spasm. Since then I now have a feeling of a lump in my throat that comes and goes. It can last sometimes for ages, my neck also feels extremely tense.
I have no problem eating and drinking but the lump like feeling is driving me crazy. Keep thinking I have something radically wrong with me.
Back and forth to the doctors all the time, I have been referred to have an MRI scan and to a neurologist.
Has anyone experienced anything like this?
Yes to the throat issue thing drives me crazy it’s like a lump and if you are constantly clearing your throat then you get a sore throat it’s super irritating
It's awful, how often do u get this feeling?
Does your voice become crackled from time to time?
It comes and goes I just learn to deal with these things
Ah Heidi, the dreaded throat lump and neck tension, had this too so very very irritating/ disturbing. It’s all anxiety based as is the numbness you experienced.
Have you had a head and neck massage I found it really helped a lot, it’s an awful sensation but it’s not harmful and it will disappear when you stop giving it attention
