Feeling of something stuck in throat

hi all today i have a feeling of something being stuck on the right side of my throat. anyone ever had this

i do get that sensations sometimes! i have seen a doctor too,and he found nothing wrong ! if after you take your anxiety med(if you take any) and that helps ,its propably just anxiety

I have had this a few times due to anxiety

Obviously this is the internet so it is extremely difficult to even hazard a guess …

  • If there is a feeling you are swallowing something solid, like a bolt, that can well be oral thrush which it is not hard to get. It is not sexual. It is a fungal infection. Have you had your blood sugars checked? It can be a signal to borderline diabetes or other issues of imbalance in the body.

  • Do you grind your teeth? Do you clench your jaw? Obviously it could be muscular

In truth asking random questions on the internet of this nature does little but help feed paranoia … My advice is always to talk to a health provider: get a professional to look at you and give you a diagnosis.

im not sure but ive been severely anxious since this pandemic started ive been so stressed about getting it to the point of shaking and trembling. so maybe its anxiety

It would seem reasonable to imagine it is something to do with your level of anxiety …
Personally I am in the highest possible risk group for COVID infection, but of course I have on going health issues anyway … So I deal with those over the phone with my doctor.

Can you ring your health provider and have a chat with them? That might be the way forward … On here people can offer their typed support, platitudes and even hazard a guess at your issue … But you need to talk to your health provider.

my throat doesnt feel like somethings in it, HOWEVER it does feel like its almost closing up. making it hard to swallow. this JUST started happening a few days ago, and its been a living nightmare

oh no sorry ur going through this. i have something similar today like my throat feels very irritated. i dont know. i have a blocked nose too.
