I have had only one hsv-1 GH outbreak and it was about 2 weeks ago. I think I might (and I can't stress that word enough) be having another outbreak. Can anyone tell me how I might be sure of this??? I don't feel the tingling or anything that I have heard of. I do feel a tiny bit of discomfort, but that could possibly be just my mind playing tricks on me due to the fact that this has been on my mind lately....
Does it hurt when you pee? Do you see blisters? Sometimes you could get slight fever also itching in area....
Nope, not so far. I thought fevers only came with the first outbreak?
You may be right that you've just psyched yourself out. I'd just take 2 valtrex or acyclovir and then continue suppressive therapy daily.
Sometimes you'll have irritation, itching, burning, etc and not have an OB. I call this shedding. Doesn't mean you'll have an actual OB, but start bathing in Epsom salt when you have symptoms.
Don't worry, recurrents are nothing like your primary . I was able to workout and go about my daily activities during my recurrents.
That fever only comes w primary obs hun.... Recurrent obs can be very mild and not present w sores.
