Feeling so bad AGAIN !

I haven't been on here for over a week now as I was starting to feel a bit better but had a bad day yesterday and an even worse one today my anxiety is so bad negative thoughts and can't concentrate on anything I've tried keeping myself busy but can't put my mind to anything I'm just crying and panicking....my gp upped my sertraline to 200mg last Monday and I have an appointment with the psychiatrist next Wednesday so I suppose I just have to wait...I have been like this for 9 weeks noW and I just can't see an end to it I don't go out only to gp or local shop ..... I had a 5 star holiday to Turkey booked for 2weeks time but have cancelled it and lost my money I'm signed off of work and on SSP so worrying how to pay my rent and bills ..... Up until 9 weeks ago I was so looking forward to my holiday but now I'm just a wreck

 Anxiety, negativity, and fear have gotten a hold of you. I am so sorry you are feeling this bad. 

 I have had all of those and I know what a panic attack feels like. 

 One thing that really seems to calm everything down is listening to audio meditations that are guided on YouTube. They have ones for panic where they guide you through the panic attack. 

 also, VERY IMPORTANT  to get you out of panic and anxiety you absolutely need to focus on your breathing because that keeps you in the present moment. 

 go to YouTube and search for "five minute breathing and Mindfulness meditation" . Listen carefully.  I like to use earbuds because it has a better effect. 

 YouTube has many many other audio meditations for stress, anxiety, depression, sleeping well, etc. Check them out and choose the ones you like. 

 there is a great audio meditation for negative thinking called clearing subconscious negativity.  That would be great for you to listen to. 

 all anxiety starts in the brain, so it's essential that you calm down your brain anyway that you can. Negative thoughts come from anxiety and fear. When you start to get a negative thought absolutely do  not to react with anxiety because they will only get worse. What you do is calmly acknowledge that the negative thought is there, then imagine it floating off into the sky and dissolving. 

 The more you try to fight the negative thoughts and anxiety, the worse it will get. 

 i'm glad you're going to visit the doctor. Just open up and tell him or her everything so you can get help. 

 there is an excellent book that I think would be great for you called Mindfulness.  It's a white cover a book with what looks like a tangled ball of string on the cover .

It teaches you all of this and how to regain your peace of mind! 

Dont  Forget, the minute you get a negative thought to what I told you to do above each and every time! Eventually your mind will do it automatically for you. 

 make sure you go right to slow deep breathing how it tells you to in the meditation. 

 don't let fear and anxiety take you over. You are in control! Fight for yourself. You will have your good days and bad days but if you keep doing what it tells you in the book and on the meditations, you will overcome this like I have.

Thank you so much I will go on you tube I did try a couple of the anxiety ones a couple of weeks ago and I will go on Amazon and look for the book  I was starting to feel a bit better over last weekend but yesterday and today I feel bad again .... 

Yes you can have good and bad days, but the more you do things to calm yourself and catch the negative thoughts right away, the faster you will reach the peace of mind.

The book is a must read! 😁
