Feeling unbalanced after episode of vertigo.

Hi so the first time I had vertigo was when I woke up and the room was spinning. I later vomited and felt a bit uneasy for the about two days but experienced no vertigo after that one episode. I was back to normal very quickly (within 1-3 days). The doctor said I probably had bppv, but didn’t do any tests because it was a walk in clinic and he was through a computer screen. About one year later (may 8 2018) I had another episode of vertigo after waking up and it lasted for about 5 seconds. Before it happened I was experiencing ear fullness in my right ear but it wasn’t too bad. After the vertigo attack I’ve been having fullness in the right ear, clicking in it when I walk hard on the ground...etc. The fullness has gotten better since then but it’s a lot harder to pop my right ear than my left. Now the most annoying symptom which I didn’t experience last time is feeling unbalanced whenever I walk like one leg is shorter than the other. It’s really weird because I felt perfectly fine before this all happened and then suddenly one episode of vertigo has left me feeling unbalanced and not the same as I used to feel before. Sometimes I hear things in my right ear like ear wax is moving or moving against each other when there’s a loud sound or if I move my ears. I have always had a slight singing sound in both my ears but it’s usually only there if it is fairly quiet or if I’m paying attention to it if that makes sense.

I have an ENT appointment in a month and I’m scared this feeling of being unbalanced won’t go away. I’m turning 20 soon and I’m female. Any suggestions of what this might be or how long until this wooziness wears off?

Thanks in advance

Sorry I meant ringing not singing.

Do you have digestion issues like acid reflux, gastritis or gallbladder. Problems?

May sound kinda simple but from my experience when you sleep prop your head up pretty good and do not sleep on your rightg side. This helps me a lot.

No, everything is fine except for my balance.

Yeah I don’t sleep on my right side anymore but I notice that when I do put my right cheek and ear down I feel like a pull.

I know what you mean. Try to def prop up using a bunch of pillows. I got treated for a sinus infection with antibiotics my las 2 episodes last year and this year even tho i didnt have all the symptoms. Doc just tried to help and it saved me. Check into that also. Good luck

Did your vertigo and unbalanced feelings ever go away? Thanks!

For the last 2 years since the it has happened twice but both times i got antibiotics and it went away within 24 hours. Before that i suffered with it for months at a time for 5 years. I cant explain it other than i had some kind of infection only antibiotics could cure. I had the exact same symptoms as you. Hope this helps.
