Today is the first day in a long time that I noticably don't feel anxious, nor am I experiencing my normal symptoms such as over-awareness of my heart beat and dream-like vision. Because feeling normal is quite abnormal, I feel strange. Does that make sense haha? Anyone else experience this? Regardless, I am glad to be feeling well for the first time in months!
Yes I know this well,I think its quite common. We become used to feeling a certain way and any change is very strange and threatening
Hi brenth
Yes I get this aswell
It's as if it's unreal and you shouldn't be feeling good cause your very much used
To feeling weird etc you start to question
Your happiness it's a very strange scenario
The meds must be working lol
Hi brenth,
Actually I am feeling more-less ok from yesterday and its strange for me also. I am on fluoxetine 20 mg four weeks and taking propranolol and xanax from time to time to ease the side effects...
Are you on some meds..
A
I'm glad you are feeling better! It's been over month since I've not felt my 100% self of not having a foggy mind or anxious about anything and everything 24/7. I'm only 19 haha. Anyway hope you stay feeling better!
Glad to hear that Alex that's encouraging it does get better with each passing day . I have moments
Where I think I'm too happy it's bizarre but welcome
I mean its not 100% but propranolol 20mg a day and xanax 0.25 a day makes it easier I think at least this two last days yesterday and today....I am sure there will be ups and downs but its strange when you feel better...Hoping to be like that all the time......
How are you daz? Which week is for you on flu and what dosage?
Do you take any aditional meds like xanax or propranolol??
Started on the 5th feb 20 mg flux
And 10mg amitriptayline for sleep
AND ARE YOU COMPLETELY OK??
WHEN YOU FELT A FIRST KICK??
I wouldn't say I'm completely ok
I would say that it's easier to cope
And deal with things .my mood has increased and I've noticed how happier I am . I'm also doing a lot more whatever it be my interests are returning . It's a better all round place to be . Soon enough you'll get the same feelings
I SINCERELY HOPE SO DAZ.......I HOPE I WILL BE NORMAL AGAIN....... I AM TRULY HAPPY FOR YOU.......WE WILL UPDATE EACH OTHER I CAN PROMISE YOU THAT......
Because you haven't well for a while it seems strange and probably unnatural because you have become so used to feeling unwell. Glad you feel well for the first time in months. Long may it continue!
Definately Alex it's a long rd
But with the right help and support
Anything is possible I wish you well my friend
How old are you daz?
I am male 38 years old...
36 and obviously male lol
Wow man..we are the same...what brings you in to this situation...I had a really terrible stress situations in the past and I get over everything....and at the end when life began to be more ok for me I survived my first panic attack...Even now I don't believe it's panic attack...After several tests, ekg, thyroid blood sugar and ect...I convinced myself it's anxiety...for 5 months I am struggling with this disaster health anxiety, heart racing, terrible thoughts, dying all the time and ect....flu make my symptoms even worst the first three and a half weeks...I mean it's a he'll of a road....
What is your problem daz?
Diagnosed with a panic disorder
And some underlying obsessional thoughts I have been on various meds and fighting this battle since the late 90's
This is great brenth! Take advantage of these good feelings to make some positive changes in your life. Go shopping for healthy foods that will help to continue these good feelings. Look on the internet for the types of foods you should be eating more of. Exercise like taking walks in your area to "smell the roses" and start to make small measurable gioals that are achievable and will help you continue in this positive state. Surround yourself by supportive people and keep taking your medications.
Good luck!
