I have been waking up late at night having to pee and it burns like a uti and when I go back to bed I feel a very uncomfortable burning down there I can't go back to sleep. But all of this goes away during the day. Can anyone explain this?
jenamara, rather than worry about this, take a urine specimen to your Dr who should check on the spot for any sign of infection then if positive should send it off to the Lab to determine the bacteria involved in order to prescribe the best antibiotic with which to treat it. Take a mid-stream sample first thing in the morning.
Ok i will do that. Can you tell me if my symptoms could be due to pregnancy? I have a doctors appointment on Monday but I was just hoping you can tell me if its possible?
Gosh, No! Only a Dr can tell you if you are pregnant after examining you and testing a urine specimen. f you don't want to wait until Monday, you can get your own pregnancy testing kit from a local pharmacy. I still wouldn't have thought that the "burning" you describe would be a symptom of pregnancy though. Do check this all out with your Dr - s/he is the expert.
