Fell over

Hi guys.

I fell over yesterday. I am post LTHR almost 6 weeks now

I lost my balance and fell on my operated side. It was like a slow motion film when it happened. But thank god I didn't dislocate my new hip at all. I just have a little bit of pain in my groin now. But since then I have been to the park with my grandson and played on the stuff there hahaha

Hope you hippie guys are doing ok.?xx

Hi Renee.

I have my first physio appointment next week then to see the surgeon who don't my op, a few days later. I will mention it to then just to be on the safe side.

Hope all is well with you.

Hugs. Jules. Xxx

It's scary to fall down. It seems to happen so fast that the next thing you know you're on the ground. I know the feeling. I hope all is well with you and your doctor gives you an all clear.

Hope you remain upright!

Biggest fear, falling over!  Stay upright everyone!  Glad you are ok!

I've fallen three times!!! Very scary. I was told by the arthroplasty nurse that some hip (and knee) patients have a problem with proprioception afterwards. Something to do with nerve impulses not passing through the artificial joint to the brain. I hurt myself badly the last time I fell but I'm trying to get past it and carry on.

I didn't hurt myself too much when I fell, just had a bit of groin pain after. The fright was worse than the fall. I went white and dizzy hahaha.
