Yes, before I was diagnosed, I was in town one day, came out of a shop and had no idea where I was or even in what town. I just thought to myself...keep calm and walk you are bound to recognise something soon. It was really frightening, and knocked my confidence rolleyes

I once got lost crossing the road to pick up my children from school. It was terrifying. I just didn't know where i was or even how to use words, i just cried and cried and then a few mins later i was fine again !

Gentle hugs, I can understand how you felt Krissy, it's so frightening then goes away so suddenly, but really knocks your confidence rolleyes

Yep Boqer it is ! About 6 years ago my husband, parents and i (pre kids) visited a local beauty spot and it was beautiful. I passed comment that i couldn't believe it had taken 30 years for us to visit such a beautiful place right on our doorstep. My mum and Dad looked at me like i was totally insane and said they had been bringing my siblings and i here since we were little and we had spent many sunny days here during holidays. I was seeing it for the first time as far as i was concerned and it broke me down to tears to think i had no recollection of all these happy days.

Krissy

Oh dear, poor you, I expect it is still painful for you to think of.

Hugs!

I haven't had that, but I often forget conversations I have had recently, or only know that I said something but can't remember who I said it to.

It really is a terrible thing this fibro.

Take care.

It is.

Oh yes i get in trouble all the time for forgetting convo's etc, at least i have an excuse now lol

Hi, Kaz:  I have all these symptoms, however, there is one more that was not mentioned. Do any of you get extremely tired just going to the grocery store or running short errands.  I get so tired that i have to take a nap.  Afer my nap I feel even more foggy brained, and takes me longer to wake up to reality...I'm getting up in age, but most people have more energy than I do, and I have aches and pains all over my whole body.  The only thing that helps is Lyrica, but I can only take one or two tablets a week, due to the effect on my kidneys...I would love to know if this happens to anyone else...thank you so much...
