Today I signed a petition thats going to downing street and to the prime minister, to get fibro more recognised and for us to be treated more fairly. We deserve a solution to our condition.

way to go Kaz! Good for you.  People power is the only thing that's going to work.  The solutions for this miserable complaint are not expensive and readily available, IF and its a big IF, doctors would just treat us as intelligent and aware of what our own bodies are telling us and stop fobbing us off with ridiculous unnecessary and costly tests and delays.  I am thinking of starting a local group to get fellow sufferers together to get their stories and put the whole lot in a pack to send to the Minister for Health, copying in any and all interested media.  The squeaky hinge gets oiled.....ie if we shout loudly and make an embarrassing fuss, something just might happen.

im doing the same cause i have had enough of being told its all in my head when its not plus not getting help from my doctor or the rhuematologist there not very supoportive but there duty bound by law to give the best medical help and advice otherwise its malpractice so i will be writting to downing street about them to we all deserve better and should be treated better not cast aside

you go for it loxie  weve got to do something weve got make the relevent people listen fibro needs to be out their it should be more recogniseable like MS ME and other conditions. weve got to fight to get our condition recognised better treatment and more research done to get a cure for this condition. If we dont stand up fight ourselves no one else will do it for us xx

we need more voices more action make ourselves heard weve got to fight to get fibro out their and recognised get us more fairly treated and not accused of it being in our head?health proffessionals need to be better educated in fibro. we need a cure for us and other generations to come.take care

glad you found it ok and signed it hun fibro is affecting our lives and our loved 1s also. they find it hard seeeing us in so much pain. lets hope  this petition will help in getting fibro more out their and abetter understanding of it gentle hugs x

Totally agree with you Loxie.  We need to be heard from a sufferers point of view and not from the docs. As they don't experience the pains we do.  x
