I also have been put on esmya for about a week now, my stomach has become more swollen than usual anyone else had this problem.
Hi Gillian, I have been taking esmya for 6 weeks now and I suffered from terrible clots and flooding for the first two weeks. I just feel more tired than normal now, my children have commented my stomach looks bigger than before but to be honest I have not noticed any difference. I looked pregnant before and I still look it now..... well people are still asking when the baby is due! take care x
Hi misty thanks for the reply, yeh my husband says I look pregnant to so annoying ,its very uncomfortable and I feel tired all the time, im waiting 12 weeks for my hysterectomy can't wait till it's over.
I haven't been given a date yet for my hysterectomy, in three weeks they are going to review wether to continue with esmya or change to the injections.... which i think they are stronger? Keep in touch and let us know how the operation is and any words of advice. Take care x
