fibromialgia and food

if you like pancakes but you cant tolerate eggs

you can make perfectly tasty pancakes with just fizzy water and flour

4 table spoons of sr flour and enough fizzy water to make a batterfry in olive oil add what ever you want, sweet or savoury

Hi

what do you mean by fizzy water do you mean sparkling mineral water,

The pancakes sound ok will try, any other recipes you have would be appreciated

Best Wishes.

Pat

yes sparkling mineral water , best if you make the batter at night and stand in the fridge over night, just stir it and add more water if needed.

i sometimes sprinkle a little gratted cheese in the middle before folding, or sometimes serve them with savoury mince .

i get my recipes from the margrett pattons victory world war 2 cook book. theres also on line war time recipes , such as eggless ginger cake , and how to cook tough meat cuts,

such as using stewing or braising steak on top of potatoes with a gravy and sausage meat placed on top so the fat from the sausages helps to tenderise the meat

Thank you for that information, I will look those up on my IPad.

i had my results from the Dr's.today my levels of magnesium are normal, so that was a relief he also said I had one of the lowest cholesterol levels in the surgery.

Do you take the Fibromyalgia Magazine, I got  two really good online exercises with warm up and stretching by David Jenkins, trying to do them everyday, quite hard when the pain is bad but he said they would benefit in the longer term, hope so.
