My anxiety has caused a loss of appetite
anxiety can cause loss of appertite with or with out fibro
Hi Patricia,
It can be a pain, do you practice any sort of relaxation or mindfullness?
I've recently looked at mindfullness and not only did it quieten a busy mind but it taught me to live in the moment and to acknowledge feelings and let them be. It takes practice but I have found it works and can seem to turn the volume down on the pain too.
If it gets too bad have a word with your doctor, it's often too easy to put all the problems down to Fibro. I find my appetite is rather up and down but make sure I eat if I have to do anything i.e. doctors appointments etc. There seems to be a pattern of appetite loss when I'm more active and I put it down to the increase in pain that I experience. I can't walk very far at all without severe pain.
When my appetite is off I tend to pick at fruit, yoghurt etc. I find it easier to stomach, pasta isn't too bad either.
I hope you get to the bottom of your anxiety, it's a horrid thing to suffer with. I experience it from time to time and know how frightening it can be. Remember that your body can only shunt the adrenaline for about 20mins so if you do get a panic attack please be assured that it is self limiting and will pass.
I wish you well :-)
I have just had an email about that Rhuematoid oil, have you? There is another delay until next Thursday, they have had a big order from overseas for 1000 bottles.
