hello, im very worried and was hoping someone might be able to give guidance. ill start by saying this is all my fault but besides that im looking for help. im 28 talk and slim and have been drinking for 10 yrs. ive been getting regular check ups with blood labs and ultrasounds plus endoscopy and colonoscopy for the last 5 yrs for bowel issues. i m very honest with my drs about my drinking and always tell them i want to know how my liver is and my blood work is always good they say and imaging tests always good they say. this year due the horrible URQ pain that has taken over the whole right side of my body from neck to shoulder ribs pelvic area and thigh i have taken things into my own hands and gone through my tests. i just realized my tests for 7 yrs have shown mildly elevated bilirubin and 447 platelets. in my research bilirubin out of all liver enzymes is directly related to liver damage and high platelets indicate inflammation that no dr ever talked to me about. since quitting and the pain become so bad i cant sleep sometimes ive noticed my bilirubin is on high side of normal but in range now and my platelets with wbc and rbc have been on a slow decline through this year. my platelets are now 298 and rbc and wbc are at the boarderline low area now. once again drs dont care at all even though this years imaging show mild fatty liver in ultrasound and ct scan shows enlarged liver at 20.9 cm vertically ( states on ct that i have a rare abnormality called riedels lobe that they think is why its big) but thats still three times the size of an average female liver and no one thinks anything if it. i begged for a fibrosure blood test that showed no scarring or inflammation or damage but idk if i trust blood work since mine never seems to sound any alarms. i have finally gotten myself to cedar siani for a fibroscan this thursday and im freaking over what the results might be. does anyone have experience with both fibrosure and fibroscan and if they come out the same or different? im almost positive i have compensated liver cirrhosis and i cant sleep at night thinking about it im so scared. ive also had very mild yellow eyes in the inner corner with all over body itching for two years and different colored yellow and pale stools for 7 yrs. all of which my drs are completely aware of.
