i visited my doctor last week, went through the usual checks and was asked to try a new tablet 3 times per day, 20 mins before food,seems to work great, no bloating, no more constipation, an£ a peaceful l nights sleep, by the way the tablets are Mebeverine 135mg

That’s great if Mebeverine worked for you. However, it made me a lot worse and I had to stop them. Mebeverine can make your constipation worse and can cause severe indigestion. I felt as if I had swallowed a pebble after just minutes of taking my first tablet. So watch out for these side effects which may appear after being on them for for a few days.
I agree nasty things that make you feel like rubbish! Just horrible, the ones I took gave me griping stomach pains, lack of appetite and sickness and diarrhoea!
It’s an absolute minefield with medication. At least I’ve got my bowel under control which is something and I haven’t needed to take anything for it for some time. However, I am still trying out a few things for the nerve pain.
