Hi All, finally having the fibroid embolisation done! Soooo scared though. I just want to be heavily sedated so im not aware of anything 🙊. Will update after x
Don’t be scared or nervous. I had some anxiety at the beginning too but the whole procedure went fine considering you are awake during it. May feel a little uncomfort but I didn’t feel pain. I had a tiny incision in my upper right thigh and now I think it’s akready disappeared. It was so tiny.
Just be prepared for the recovery. Because that’s when you will start feeling some pain. As long as you have some support and you are taking pain meds you should be ok.

The The fibroids will start shrinking as soon as they start dying.
