Hi, Lately I've found myself waking up in the mornings coughing and sometimes at night accompanied by a blocked nose that gets worse during the day. Now my throat is tickling. I don't have a cold. I do seasonal allergies, but never had it this random and never cough. My period is due in a few days too. Wonder if there is a correlation. Another peri symptom?
Good Morning! I have the same thing and mine has been acid reflux. I developed heartburn during perimenopause and I wake up with a dry cough and lots of phlegm in nose and throat. My ENT said its my throat protecting itself from the acid. Alot of people aren’t even aware they have relux. When that happens its called silent reflux. I have had many many weird things happen to me in middle age and this is another one to add to the list. Try paying attention to what you eat before bed and see if it makes a difference. Also, try maybe even chewing a few tums. Good Luck and I hope you feel better soon!

I was wondering about that. I will try Tums thanks you. I was worried I had covid or something, but after having this weird throat dryness and cough for months now, I knew it might be hormone related.
