So today was my first day taking Celexa 10mg, have been dealing anxiety and panic disorders for about 7 months now, have tried Zoloft and it made everything worse over time.. I came off that a lomg time ago and only have been taking Xanax when I need to.. Yesterday I was prescribed Celexa and today I took my first 10mg, i felt nausea (which I already knew was a side effect) but as the day went on I started to feel really uneasy and still do.. I was just wondering what this might be? And has anyone else felt This I'm the first day?

Yes, I started on 10mg of Citalopram over 4 mo this ago now and the first 5 days my anxiety really heightened and got a lot worse but it soon calmed down. It gets worse before it gets better and for me it was definitely worth it I'm doing really good and I just kept really busy in the beginning. Hope you feel better soon
Absolutely! I felt like I had the flu, heightened anxiety, tinitus and just an overall weirdness. Not hungry ever. I an now starting week 3 of 20mg (started at 10mg for 6 days) It really does get better. Just have to tough out the first few weeks. Everyone is different but from what I have read on this forum 6 Weeks seems to be when real relieve is achieved. So far what works for me is exercise, deep breathing, eating even when I have no desire to and looking forward. Stick with this forum lots of good info and support. Message me anytime.
