Hi Jonno, well done for taking the first step to getting help with depression. I am on Citalopram which has helped me thou I am on 10mg after reducing. If you need to talk there are lots of people on here that will understand. I am on here most days. Good luck.
Hi Jonno well done you have taken the first steps towards your recovery it does not matter how hard we try to get through this alone eventually we have to admit defeat and ask for help. Depression is a very lonely illness as you usually try to avoid people and occasions were you have to mix and try to be happy, I have always been able to put on a brave face and not let others know how bad I'm feeling but when it gets so bad I just want to stay in bed all day and hide away from everyone. Your not alone many people suffer from this illness and they do get better with support and the right medication so hang on in there.
kind regards sue
I've been on this for a month. Fluoxetine didn't help. To be honest, citalopram hasnt made much difference either. Diazepam helps in emergencies.
