Hello!
I've been experiencing some painful symptoms going on a week now, and at first I thought it was a yeast infection, but now I've gotten sores on my labia and one right by my urethra. After doing some research, I'm pretty positive it's herpes. I'm going to get tested in three days to find out for sure.
I was mainly hoping to get some tips for managing the pain that I'm experiencing now. I work a pretty physical job and I'm in absolute agony all day, but I don't want anyone to know I'm suffering. I have a pretty high pain tolerance, which I think is my only saving grace at the moment.
Thanks!
Why don't you go.to er do they look like open sores aost like canker sores
Theres always obgyn in.hospital or female doctor that can tell you what it is and prescribe pain meds and antivirals
And yeast can cause sores from itching too
Topical lidocaine, oral acetaminophen or ibuprofen, Epsom salt sitz baths, and pouring water while urinating (plus drinking a lot of water to keep urine diluted) can all help to offer relief.
Also, you should get swab tested sooner than 3 days if you want more reliable results, unless you can have your lesions swab tested by pcr. Most places do viral culture swabs, however, which lose accuracy with each passing day, especially after 2-3 days.
