I am not 100% sure if Iq have genital herpes but it is looking pretty likely, i have been to GUM clinic and been tested just waiting on results. It first started with a itch and discharge I then had extreme pain when urinating I then started to develop blisters/ulcer they are so painful I can not sit down and still so painful when I urinate the only pain relief is a hot bath. The GUM clinic gave me Acyclovir I am wondering if it is to late to take the mediaction as I have read that you should take it as soon as you notice an outbreak (which I thought was a water infection) also can I pass this to another part of my body (mouth and face)? When the blisters and ulcers develop how much longer does the outbreak usually last? Sorry for all the questions just a little confused and worried. Like i said still waiting on my results and my results should tell me what type i have either 1 or 2.
