First time on Lexapro

Hi. Ive been on Lexapro(escitalopram) for 8 days now. I dont feel better at all. This is my first time taking antidepressants. Is it normal to have a headache throughout the day for the first couple of days and when do you normally start feeling the effect of this medication?

You need   to give the AD time too work. Say five weeks  to make a good start

In about right weeks you should feel it working, Ed.

And yes, it is normal to feel a few side effects when you start it. \they are generally gone by week five.
