Has anyone had Rezum done at First Urology in Louisville, Ky? More specifically with Dr Meiers? If so, what was your experience like? Thanks

Ask him or his office how many Rezum he has done, and what his results are. If he has done less than 50, have it done somewhere else where they have done at least 50.
In Louisville you are within driving distance to Chicago where you could see Dr Kevin McVary, who has done many more than 50 with good results. Several people on this forum have had it done by him with good results. He was involved in the original clinical trials of Rezum.

I don’t know much about Rezum but agree with Thomas when he urges you to see someone who’s performed a lot of procedures that you want. The more performed, the better the likely outcome.

Just to 2nd Thomas. If your urologist is a newbie with Rezum, then find a more experienced one with 50 being the mininum number of Rezums before they do yours. The 1st urologist that I saw only did last-century mono TURP, the 2nd that I saw had only done 12 Rezums, the 3rd who was recommended to me on this forum had been doing them for over 2 years.
