First weigh in... :(

Went to my dietician today and ive gained a pound, also she wants to test me for Polysistic Ovaries. Totally knocked me down. As well as having not lost anything, gained and also getting hit with that doesnt really help with my confidence. My boyfriend is going to start training with me, but i'm really not feeling good about this at all.

Strech marks are popping up everywhere now, how can i be BIGGER on orlistat, 30g fat diet??

Oh Dear Poor You no wonder you are down. There are people on here that have PCOS . I know little about it but Googled it. I'm sure there will be people who will be able to give you some help and support from experiences they are going through.

I have PCOS and granted its not the best but its also not the end of the world. Having PCOS makes it hard to lose weight and easy to gain it, its advised that you try and limit carbs i.e white bread, pasta etc or substitute them where possible.

Don't give up just yet, also if you're exercising you might be gaining some muscle weight so don't lose heart. Try boosting your metabolism by drinking green tea

I have PCOS as well. Basically your body doesnt produce enough insulin to deal with sugar so your body stores it all. I was prescribed Metformin to help but only lasted a few days on it as it made me feel sick all the time. It is also suposed to help you loose weight when taking it, so i might attempt it again and see if i can get past the sickness. Dont worry about not loosing anything, if you know you havent done anything wrong and if you have stuck to a healthy diet then you have done all you can do. It could have been bodily functions!

Try to weigh yourself weekly instead of monthly so if you have put a pound on one week you know you need to sit down and look at what your eating and change it instead of continuing for another 3 weeks. I am trying to do weight watchers as well so i can get myself into a routine as i struggle with just the low fat diet, i end up starving myself which is not good as i could end up not loosing anything as im not eating enough. You dont want your body to go into starvation mode as it will end up storing fat as it doesnt know when it will get its next meal.
