I have developed what i think is a fistula that has happened again after abscess in 2015. I have got pus and blood drainage after i have stool. I went to Dr who have sent me to hospital for MRI. Still waiting for results then follow up. if it is a low fistula they will do fistulotomy but if high a seton for 12 months or 18 months!!
I am due to have a hysterectomy will they do a hysterectomy with a seton on or do i have to wait 18 months / a year until the seton is gone and then an op???
Anyone else been in this situation I feel very scared.
I may need to wait is 18 months. is this usual amount of time for a seton to be in?
