Hi Lelly,
Just watched it on BBC iplayer whilst at work! Not sure I was really into it and couldn't really understand why she didn't cut down on the food and do a bit more exercise but she had obviously tried that.
I can relate to the idea that it's how we are brought up that makes us the way we are weightwise - my mum always made us finish everything on our plate - nothing for Mr Manners in our house! and we always had a pudding at dinner time, nowadays I only do a pudding on a special occasion.
I wouldn't mind seeing a physcotherepist (sp?)to see if my weight had something to do with my childhood but who can afford to go private on something like that - I'll see if the nurse referred me for CBT when I go next week and see if I can't get something on the NHS.
Not sure the show really came out with anything new - just seemed to be about a fat women harping on and not really trying. (that's my view anyway)
What did you think of the show?
Jane
I watched it hoping to gain a new insight but just ended up getting frustrated and shouting at her. She just seemed to complain that the portions were too small then stuff her face and complain she hadn't lost weight. Definitely looking for a miracle solution.
On a similar subject, did anyone else watch \"extreme male beauty\" last nite?
It was nice to see things from a male perspective although the beloved was forced to bury his face in a pillow with the scenes of willy enhancements \"why didn't they warn us\" he groaned. \"Needles.NO\"
Makes a change!
