HI ALL, startibg to get a little xoncerned as i have increased urgenct and frequency but i dpnt appear to be passing any stool just blood and mucus, has anyone else experienxed anything somiliar? PLEASE HELP.********************

hi louise, this sounds very much like a flare up. are you on medication for UC ??

i am exactly the same and have been for months. have you seen a dr and gotten medication? how many times are you going each day?

do you find the urgency happens due to triggers like stress? eating? worse in the morning?

i have some advice but it depends on the triggers.

Hi all, its been bad for a few weeks now, i spike with the IBD nurse specialist who has increased my medications and also prescribed me steroid enemas. My symptoms are mainly worse in the morning but can be all day. im worried as i dont appear to be passing any stool despite eatibv and when i do go, its all bright red blood and mucus. i’m getting cramping and abdominal pain too now :frowning: :frowning:
