Last week got harder and harder as the days went by with my feet and anfles in agony, my toes and fingers have felt like have been in a vice.
Over the past few weeks I've been getting a stabbing pain to the right of my groin/hip area which is followed by very uncomfortable burning down the outside of my leg.
I've been attending our local Hyperbaric Chamber for oxygenation treatment and it has definetely given me the ability to continue through the day with a little more energy but today I struggled with my breathing so that must be me still getting of the flare up.
We are all going though this battle the same I know so the little improvements like the Hyperbaric are sometimes really worth hearing about.
Not sure if the groin/hip pain and burning leg is a fibro thing or if it is a new problem to my body of broken bolts
i know all those symptoms ,i am glad someone eles knows the pain of the feet and ankles and that burning down the outside of the leg, well not glad someone eles
is suffering but i jsut cant explain the pain ,like you say its like there in a vice and someones tighting it .it gets so painful sometimes i cant bare to put my feet down.
but i do gritting my teeth and after awhile of walking around they feel like there stertched and not so painful
May I ask ?
Are you signed up to a Rhuematologist
Sounds like illiotibial band syndrome basically it's to do with way your walking causing excessive rotation in the lateral quadrant of the thigh
overuse symptom in legs is common in runners but also shows up with a biomechanics fault generally through a functional short leg
you could try raising heel in shoes on right side only up to 3mm -5mm
the pain is more likely to be from psoas muscle due to hip imbalance
suggest you see good biomechanics podiatrist or chiropractor or similar
nope hun dont do doctors , unless its something i cant sort myself
dont believe in drugs to cover pain pain is there for a reason
to tell u something is wrong,
i use natrual stuff to make it barable
my choice is not to spend my life sat in hospital and doctors waiting rooms waiting to be pulled about poked and proded and being given drugs that cause other problems that need more drugs ,
they cant do anything .so why bother , if they could cure it id be first in line
but until then .il just manage the pain .but each must deal with it in there own way .
I have the same pain in my feet, ankles, hands hips etc but I have osteoarthritis and my pain worsens when I walk. My hands arms and feet have now become puffy and I have a lot of nerve pains in my arms and thighs. I was under a rheumatologist but as tiswas says, no one can take the pain away. Steroid injections used to help my spine for a while but the pain returns and they are not good to keep repeating. We are all falling apart. Thanks for recommending hyperbaric as I've never heard of it before so will look into it. Thanks
Bit more worried with your symptoms bilateral oedema genenerally indicates systemic illness
Can be caused by kidney lungs heart
deep pain in groin can indicate urinary tract infection
hands and feet oedema is heart and that does need looking into
pains in arms but as you have oedema poss more concerned about heart or lungs
please get that checked the fact air helped does indicate lungs the reduced air can cause heart probs as can steroid usage
I totally agree with you. Dr's can't cure us, so why fill our bodies with drugs that cause problems. I have weaned myself off most drugs, and just keep taking the Oramorph. It does give some relief.
Have a good day..Regards...Anne..
thanks i am glad someone agrees , have you tried a collagen supplement i am thinking of given it a go ,apparently it helps to rejuvnate tendon ligaments the older generation got there supply from beef broth made from marrow bones .worth a try.
apparently its a the new health craze in the states.
beef broth that is and there marking the price high.
Maybe you should have a go at making your own
yes id like to but its best from grass fed cows that hard to find
we have a local butcher that gets there meat local but cant say if there grass fed, plus i live in the uk and alot of butchers wont give you soup bones now since the bse scare some yrs back .
The Manx meat on or from the Isle of Man is possibly the best in the UK maybe you could ask your butcher
i would agree with you because i believe they are fed like they are supposed to be . on grass and hay in winter. change there diet you get problems just like we have now with humans . stupid bloody wacko diets this is good for you this is bad for you drives me mad .
simple rule nothing out of a packet or a tin is good for you
it wont harm you in small amounts but its not good for you
eat what suits if your body copes with meat eat it if it dosent dont etc
eat the best you can afford .and always have your veg .best diet was the war diet but we were all very active then so the high carbs where useful now unless active it would proberly make us gain weight.
remember the old rhyme , jack sprat could eat no fat and his wife could eat no lean but together they licked the platter clean . in other words eat what suits and leave the rest alone. best plan i think. were in yorkshire our meat comes from local area.
Thanks all of you, today is as bad as Saturday with my feet and ankles in so much pain I just can't describe it. thankfully my hands are not as bad.
Dr's appointment on Thursday so hopefully I will be able to get there okay. I haven't seen a Rheumatologist yet but I am going to ask.
is there anything you knowledgeable lot suggest that I ask. Going to ask for an MOT and we will hopefully start feeling a little better soon.
