I am suffering from fleeting tinnitus which is a very high pitch sound lasts for a few seconds. This freaks me out and I become panic. Does any body has the same experience?
Yes, it's super very common and not serious at all. When you first tend to get it, you panic, after a few times you'll learn it's nothing serious, it doesn't signal anything dangerous, ignore it and like always, it will just fade out.
I suffered from this some time ago and I also panicked when it happened. After a while you do tend to get used to it, unfortunately I now have this sound all the time but because I had it on and off for so long before I can manage it better than if it started constantly at the beginning. I have had various ear test and all is Ok so why it happens I do not know.
