Hi Suzanne,

Did you feel heart palpitations , did your head neck and ear pain was only on one side or both

Well I'm not surprised with any symptom that peri, meno, throws our way.. You could say your big toe hurts and I would say yes meno, lol because hormones control and run everything in the body!! One thing for sure is when you first get a symptom yes that symptom tends to stay with you for a while, I had dizzy pretty bad off balance I felt like I was going to tip over when walking , that stayed with me a long time before leaving me, now it returns every now and again but doesn't stay as long and isn't as bad, if that makes sense, and that seems to be the pattern with all new symptoms. They come they stay they leave and return later not as bad... Weird!!! I guess that's why a lot of women go and get different symptoms checked out and when all cleared by their doctor who almost always says anxiety, here's a pill.. They just chalk it up as perimenopause...these symptoms can be very frightening, but when you see the repeat in your symptoms like clock work every month, you can relax a bit and say to yourself I'm still here I made it thru another month..

Yes, I had awful heart palpitations. Racing heart rate too.  Ended up a few times in the ER thinking I was having a heart attack. My back pain was on the left side. Neck pain in the middle. I have not had ear pain.

Last year I thought for sure one of my teeth was going to need a root canal because I was having such pain, but after seeing the endodontist, he couldn't find anything wrong. My sister had burning gums really bad as one of her symptoms.

I saw an ENT, he scoped my throat and couldn't find any reason for the lump, but suggested silent reflux. It wasn't silent reflux. It was all related to peri. It's a long story..

But anyway, it was amazing how fast my life started to fall apart. It's like someone just turned the switch one day. However, like someone else said, there were other things going on in the years leading up that I never related to peri, but now looking back realize it was.

My periods are all over the place. Regular, to missing, to just spotting. I missed for a few months and thought I was finally entering meno, but then right back to regular again.
