hi im on week 5 of prozac has been quite a rollercoaster ride last week was a really good wekk but by the weekend it had gone backwards 3 nights were i didnt sleep properly not being able to eat feeling sick, today felling a bit better,

Hope you feeling better, Flouetine does take time to work. Think the instructions say it takes 2 to 8 weeks to start working and making you feel better. Took a while to work with me. Its great you had a good week. At least you know its starting to work. You may still get bad days, but try not to stress or worry that your going backward after few bad days, it totally normal. I know its hard but try concentrate on the good days and how well you doing.

thanks for replying im now on week11 on week 10 had my meds upped to 40mg have suffered withbad side effects again hoping they wont last too long

Hey, I'm on Flouxetine too, and I had some mood swings early on as well. If it keeps giving you bad side effects, go back to your doctor and they can put you on something else... also are you taking any other meds with it? and do you have an empty or full stomach when you take it? If i take it on an empty stomach I get shaky and sick.
