i have been on these things for about two months, i dint think they were doing anything at all to start with, I have had no side effects of note. A week or so back i woke up one morning feeling on top of the world...i had never felt better in my life. this was about the same time that i changed to a healthy eating / sugar free diet, because i was suspecting i have hypoglycemia. I found myself talking fast, rushing around, a mate said i was acting like i was on speed. She is no longer talking to me because i upset her that has calmed down a bit now, but i have now noticed that i have zero resistance to stress, and keep flying off the handle at my parents, who seem quite concerned. I literally cant be around them for more than ten minutes. this would be fine if i was a teenager, but im 37! I am due to go back to work in a week or so, and am scared im going to get aggressive at work. has anyone else had this effect from fluoxetine?? i used to be irritable, but this is much worse.
Hi, I was on flu for about 3 months last year, 20mg a day. I felt nothing whatsoever so just stopped taking it and worked on my problems myself. Got over it but just recently events in my life have taken a turn and so reluctantly gone back to GP and am trying it again. Was prescribed 20mg a day again but I have taken 40mg and for the first time ever I can feel it having an effect on me. Light headed and starting to relax. Not encountered your problem yet but I will reply if I do. Sorry if this is no help.
i used to take seroxat and i did get aggressive but fluoxetine (which i've taken 4 near 2 1/2 years isn't quite so bad but i do get passive aggressive at times (stopped speaking to my mum for a year even though she was my only close family link!)

I have noticed that i cannot stand to be spoken to at the mo (and am only on day 5 of taking flu!) i get really aggressive when people talk to me sometimes and really bite at them! if being asked a question i snap back an answer! i feel as though there is somethong crawling under my skin on my arms and that my arms are going to explode because im sooooo irritated and angry! i dont know why, but its since i started taking flu!
