Has anyone tried taking Fluoxetine for their symptoms ? I am trying to educate myself on the best treatment for all my symptoms without having to go on HRT .
Hi, fluoxetine is the antidepressant Prozac and could help but one thing to note is that when you decide you want to come off the withdrawal symptoms are absolutely awful far worse than any HRT withdrawal symptoms.I'd do some research on it and bear that in mind.
My lady Gynae said she used Serdep herself.... it is a light anti depressant but if reduce slowly no withdrawls......it helps mood anxiety and hot flushes an sweats....treats her patience with that before hrt..... worth a try
Hi Jennifer I tried fuxotine wen my system first started the first two weeks did help me I had a lot of head zap and ringing in ears but my systems went away thought I could do any thing pushed myself to hard and over did things and had massive panic attacks that was 2 years ago now I have tried several antidressants all make me I'll now iv surviving everyday on lorzapam it' been he'll all I would say was think hard an research and try not to be super woman on them I really would like to try again but I'm to scared
