Hi guys, im just wondering if anyone has been or is taking fluoxitine? I have been on beta blockers and sertriline before anf just felt tired all the time so i stopped taking them but these fluoxitine are making me feel horrible of a night and not wanting to be near people, is this common?
Hi Paul, I was on them for about 12 years, been off them about 8 now. They are fantastic and really do work. But for the first 4-6 weeks some of the side effects are horrible, please bear with them cause they do work. Hope this helps you x

Depending on how long you have been on them and if they suit you they are a well known medication and seem generally quite good
You mention you are feeling tired all the time, You may find if taking these in the morning they will sometimes cause tiredness. One way around this as some patients testify they take them about one hour befor bed and sleep. The tablet can sometimes have the effect of a sleeping tablet as a side effect.
Check in the box that came with this medication You will hopefully find a sheet of paper explaining the medication, read it and see how you go
I take various medications ADs and I make sure to take mine one hour before bed. I get up at eight in the morning after a good night of sleep

Hi im on fluoxetine i took them for depression and anxiety just 10mg they have done wonders for the depression but i am still suffering anxiety xxx
I have been on fluextine for at least 10 years now, I was on 20mg and just recently changed to 40mg, it is a great medication but takes time to get in your system
