So on a positive, I've read somewhere that due to walking with a bad gait previously our old footwear is not really suitable. Oh dear 😆😆 I've got to buy new footwear. So not all bad hey

My foot touches ground differently also because of previous problems. I would just say get some sturdy supportive shoes to start with because any slip with fashionable footwear could jar you new hip. Ow! Can t bear to think of it. I am nearly 6 weeks post op and Can t walk confidently unless in My hotters which fasten tightly over top of foot.
😁 I have just bought Hotter sandals and trainers with touch close fastening. They are so sturdy and comfortable. I can't imagine wanting to walk in anything sturdy for quite a while for fear of falling on hip !!!!! Hope your recovery is going well xx
