For those with poor distance with Synergy - can you sharpen the distance / intermediate with glasses?

I would think theoretically yes, but it could be difficult. Any distance correction alone is likely to impact near and intermediate (depending on how you define intermediate). That said, I would think a good optometrist potentially could do it with progressive lenses. Should be able to get distance right, and near right, but the issue could be dealing with the intermediate if it is not OK when distance and near is OK.

i am asking in terms of the following:

if it can be corrected by wearing mild glasses then those could be worn while driving or outdoors. of course they will distort near provided by the iol.

without glasses they would have very good near and average distance which could be OK while indoors.
