I'm 16 years old and for my whole life i could never really be able to pull my foreskin back fully. in the past year or so i notice that my foreskin was attached to the glans by some some sort of flesh string. i researched and found out it may be frenulum breve. since i could never pull it back as you could image there is a lot of built up smegma waiting underneath. i am confused because it looks like the skin is attached to the glans. im to shy to tell anyone and want to see if stretching will help. luckily i live in Australia and wont need to pay for surgery like frenuloplasty if it comes down to it.

Hello finn. This is in fact a granular breve. Stretching may work but as long as you can clean yourself and ut doesnt bother you during sex I dont think you should need a surgery. Obviously if its causing problems then yes. Dint worry about smegma- your body is built to cleanse itself. Just clean with running water(no soap!!!)
Chances are that it is bothering you it is a straightforward procedure that can be done in an hour with minimal pain.
I had the same issue as well and now I study that part of the body so it’s safe to say that I can help. Go to a trusted adult and be seen- dont let them talk you into circumcision because that is waay overkill and very painful. When you get the frenuloplasty just refrain from sex/masterbation until it heals.

granular breve doesnt come up when i search. i have never had sex and its can get painful to pull back which would probably happen in sex. what procedure can be done in an hour and what stretching methods can i do. thanks for the response and sorry for so many questions.
