Hi all. So I know I posted on here about the pain under my breast well after going to the doctor I don’t have gallstones and no infection in my blood. So last night I was laying in bed and got the WORST pain under my breast again. My boyfriend said it could be either gas or an ulcer. The pain is still there (this happened at 3 am) so can gas stay that long? And what do ulcers feel like? This is a severe pain in the same place as the other was. So I’m worried if it’s an ulcer because it can cause bleeding so my anxiety is at its worst. 
A ulcer would be a lump
Is the pain under the breast or under the ribs cause I get pains under my rib cage it's quite bad
Meaning I would feel a lump?
It’s almost directly under my breast. This has been since 3am and I’m slowly freaking out because I’m not sure what the heck it could be
Hi I know exactly how you feel. I too often get a pain under my breast but mine is gas! And yes gas can be trapped for awhile. I use a heating pad it helps I drink hot lemon water and that helps also walking helps. Mine gets really bad at times. Do you have any stomach troubles ...acid reflux gerd.. hiatus hernia? I don't think it's anything serious. And you said they checked for gallbladder and that was fine also I use gas x and that helps. I hope you feel better gas is a pain
Yeah it’s been almost a full day (at or around 3:30AM) so it’s crazy that it can be there for that long. Pain is coming and going and sometimes gets painful as heck. I do have GERD so I take Prilosec every morning. Along with tums throughout the day when needed. Is yours under your right breast?
Mine can radiate so under either or. Sometimes my stomach blows up like a balloon and the pain and discomfort is horrible. Since you do have acid reflux I'm going to say and I'm not a doctor it's more than likely gas. Have you lifted anything heavy lately? I only ask because a pulled muscle can also feel like that. I would try soaking in warm bath. And if you have a heating pad or hot water bottle also try using that. I've had trapped gas last days not hours lol I no it's crazy. Let me no how you get on. Also the warm water with lemon and honey also helps a great deal😄
That is seriously insane to me!!! I never realized that they could last that long?! I’ve never had gas this bad before if that’s what it is. My stomach is not bloated which is the weird thing. And I’m not passing gas a lot lol.
No I haven’t lifted anything. My boyfriend asked me that and only my dog who’s about 10 pounds lol. My mom has a heating pig that’s microwaveable. Plus she smells like lavender. I’ve used it before for cramps and it worked well. So I’m gonna use that lol
I’ve had pain under my breast and wentcto the chiropractor and he said one of my ribs had pulled away from my sternum. Something like that. The pain also ran down my arm at times. I believe my muscles were tight also. It was a high anxiety time for me. Does it feel like it could be muscle pain??
I also had my heart checked and a mammogram because I had something really strange going on with my breast that needed to be checked out. (Something like an infection even though I was done breastfeeding for years at that time) Was scary but my chiropractor and possibly massage therapist really helped me.
I’m not sure. I mean it could possibly be muscle pain because my legs hurt all the damn time so I wouldn’t be surprised. Plus I have one main sleeping position sometimes and it’s on the side that hurts.
