Can frequent urination be a sign or symptom of HSV2? My GF started to come down with flu like symptoms and one thing we have notice is that she was urinating every 30 minutes. Im HSV2 positive for 15+years
Hellow jimmy I don't think if frequent urination is a sign of herpes but it can be a sign of other std and there is a possibility for her being infected because you are positive but the best way to know the truth is get tested for it. Sorry I have a question for how did you survive for those years with the virus did they cause any serious health problem or what?
definitely not.
she got tested?
how your sex life with your gf, do you use condoms?
which type you are positive igg or igm?
I did not use condoms and I have sex with only one person and my test result are positive for igm type 2 but I have burning sensation on tongue rather than the genital and it almost three month now since sept when I receive the result I have being suffering up to date I fail to understand is this herpes causing the problem or something else
Hi Alie,
the first 5-8 years i remember were pretty rough. i had breakouts 5+ times every year and i couldnt deal with it. even when i was taking antivirals as a suppressant. but as they say the longer you have it the less frequent the outbreaks. but i just would DIE if my GF contracted hsv2. i just feeling crying right now, knowing this could be the begging stages for her.
she got tested 3 months ago just out of curiosity and she came out negative.from what i understand it can take up to 3 months before the virus shows. we've been together 1.5 years and take precaution as much as possible by using condoms and me being on acyclovir daily suppressant. but as well all know, we cant be 100% safe. honestly its been so long i dont know what positive i am, but im leaning towards igg.
we have read on some site when a woman is having signs of hsv2, when she urinates there is a strong odor along with thickness and darker color in the urine. this is something we have noticed all day. her bod tingles and legs, lower back, arms are very sore. she is experiencing flu like symptoms. high fever of 103-104f (39-40c). i know i might be over paranoid atm, but i cant help to think our luck has ran out and now she is infected.
thank you all for you responses.
Thank God that you're okay
Herpes causes painful urination, not frequent urination.
Sounds like she has a urinary tract infection.
