yesterday with a new partner sexual activity lead to a finger having a pressure point on a different part of my penis shaft to normal it caused rubbing which I noticed after a period of repeated action. 30 mins later I went to the toilet and noticed a circle of open skin, in the same place where the pressure/rubbing occurred.
I have contracted herpes (simplex 1) orally and near my bum in the last month but didnt get it anywhere else.
please advise if this looks like herpes or a friction blister/injury.
Genital herpes covers the entire “boxer short area”. This means if you have herpes on your bum, you have genital herpes, and sores can appear anywhere from your mid-thigh to the top of you butt, as well as on the penis, testicles, etc.
The sore appears to be a herpes lesion in my opinion.
its scabbed over with no discharge at all, very thin scabbing, not like I have had with herpes blisters and lesions before, it just seems too different to be herpes?
Well since you already have genital herpes, there’s really no reason to worry here. Get it swabbed if something suspicious shows up again just to better understand what your symptoms look and feel like. HSV-1 is often mild genitally, so I don’t know that quick healing means it wasn’t a herpes blister, but who knows.
How were you diagnosed? Did you get swab tested in both locations?
idk whatever that is.. you need to go to a mens doctor. that doesn’t look normal. could be from friction could be something else. just go to a doctor!!!
Hey so i had the same thing a couple months ago but mine never scabbed up, I was having frequent and vigerous masturbation even with the abration, but i had my first sexual intercourse a few months prior. Was this herpes or just a friction burn? Please help?!?
