Had some scary news having tests for bladder cancer my stomach is back to square one pain coated mouth noises total lack of appetite and weight loss and diarrhea can't cope like this much longer why isn't the mediCation working anymore

Oh my word,hang in there love,I know it's scary,but sometimes these things go back rather than forward,in fact I've just had two of my worst days ever since Christmas.damned thing isn't it?

What meds are you on Tracieann? I'm asking because my mouth was or at least felt coated during my bad time recently,but since i recommenced Lansapazole it has cleared,wonder why it does that?
Is it Barretts you have?
One thing for sure don't worry unduly,no wonder your appetite has decreased,worry will cause lossof appetite and consequently weight loss.
Look my meds stopped working and for monthsw I never bothered taking it but I had to recently and it's worked pretty good,I think the meds do seem to stop working sometimes but of course they don't it's just when the worry gets out of control.
Let us know what your'e on and don't worry,I lost mum and dad with Esophagus cancer,quite likely I stand a good chance of getting it too,but tell you what i take the good with the bad,and make a big effort to stop the worrying and you know what it helps big time.

Hi Malc I take Omeprazole 20mg x2 one am one pm ranitidine 150mg x2 more am one pm seen Dr tonight regarding symptoms he said my anxiety a Nd not eating making burning worse not surprising really and mouth gets coated from not much food and acid it's so good to be on here doc said don't worry regular ish scoping will monitor me hope so thanks for your support Malc x

Yes I made that mistake not eating with results similar to you,so I made myself a big meal and stuffed myself,bit of discomfort but I felt a lot better,even now I eat pretty normally,started my Lansaraprazole again and feel much better,I try not to worry but easier said than done,same for you I bet.

Hi Malcolm had two tests today for bladder cancer and both fine just have to have a ct scan now and hope to the Lord that's ok trying my best to eat a bit more but never feel hungry was put on prozac for anxiety and depression three weeks ago and that lowers appetite but if one more person goes on about weight loss I will scream take care

Great news,glad you're clear on those tests,I'm sure the CT scan will be fine too,yes you just eat and be comfortable,that's important,I had an awful 3 months prior to Christmas,existed on Weetabix and porridge and bananas,but slowly i got back to near normal,and i eat quite well now,I eat slightly less,but I can eat all the things that used to blow me up like onions,curries,cucumber etc.but as i say in moderation,and when I'm in the mood for whatever.
I feel better now again,so odd how it just kicks in,don't yet know why or what causes these lapses,but am keeping a note of what I ate in the bad times,just to see if I can pin it down.I'm sure stress plays a major part as well,i won't go on about weight to you,I know i am a little overweight but I've just cycled 18 miles today in my quest to regain my fitness,but I have been out of work for 2 years due to knee replacements and its associated operations so I became quite unfit.
I wish you well with the CT scan,and hope you make good progress,just don't push the eating too hard,you will eat better,it's only a matter of time,bide it out.
