Condoms do not prevent the transmission of HSV.
Oral herpes (known as cold sores) can be transferred genitally through oral sex as well.
To me, it looks like it could be herpes. Which isnt a big deal at all, specially if the outbreak isnt causing you any significant discomfort.
For some, their only symptom is the sores.
80% of carriers dont even know they have HSV because either their symptoms are so mild, they brush it off, or they never have an outbreak.
If they were swabbed within 78 hours, the results should be accurate. Otherwise, you’ll want to wait 4 months after your last sexual encounter (oral or otherwise), and request an IGG type blood test. Testing too soon will register a false negative since your body wont have had the time to built enough antibodies to register positive.
